Apple Alphabet Activities

Apple themed alphabet activities are a great way for preschoolers to learn their letters. A simple activity is to create an apple tree collage. Use an apple-shaped paper punch to cut out apple shapes. Glue apples of different colors onto a piece of paper, forming the shape of a tree.

For a more active activity, try an apple race. Divide the class into two teams and line up behind a starting line. Fill a basket with paper apples on which you’ve written uppercase and lowercase Aa’s.

On go, the first player in each team runs to an apple basket, selects an apple, and runs back to the starting line. The next player then does the same, and so on until all the apples have been selected.

This is a great opportunity to review letter identification and encourages healthy competition.
